Get ready for Daomu!→ Comics

Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve shared anything new!

 

My name’s Tiffany, and I'm looking forward to updating you on all of the exciting news and projects of CAH. 

 

We just got back from the New York Comi-con where Image announced the US release of our graphic novel, Daomu.

 

Daomu is based on the Chinese best seller, Daomubiji, which means “tomb robber’s journal,” a novel about a Chinese secret society of tomb robbers. When Daomu published in China in February 2010, it also became a huge best seller. With so much success in Asia, we decided to bring it to the US and Europe to make it “China’s first global graphical novel.”  American comics and movies such as “Avatar,” are very popular in China for their stories and the artwork. So we believe that Daomu will do just as well the other way around, here in America. Not only is it a great story, but it also has amazing art, and we’re very excited for its release.   We are publishing Daomu with Image Comics, the third largest comic company in the world. Daomu’s US release is set for January 2011.

CAH has been developing art for Crowdstar’s recently released Happy Aquarium and Happy Island social virtual tourism games. Happy Island was the first game created solely for Credits, which is Facebook’s in-house virtual currency. Facebook is planning a massive rollout of Credits to all kinds of apps in the near future. Happy Aquarium, the most recent Crowdstar release, was launched January 20th.
